This year marks 65 years since Koreanska Sällskapet was founded by veterans of the Swedish field hospital during the Korean War and military personnel who had served on the supervisory commission that monitors the armistice. Anyone with an interest in Korea is welcome to become a member. The association regularly organises activities and lectures, awards a scholarship and publishes four issues of the magazine Yoboseyo each year.
