Ikebana: Otsukimi – månfestival

Try your hand at the craft of ikebana, inspired by Otsukimi, the Japanese moon festival. Ikebana is a traditional Japanese way of arranging flowers that is also considered to be connected to art, philosophy and meditation.

Through practising ikebana, you discover the beauty of plants in a new way and learn about yourself as well as nature, the seasons and Japanese aesthetics.

This session takes inspiration from the Japanese moon festival.

The course leader is Elisabeth Bakke, a qualified teacher in the Ichiyo school.
