Origami – Pappersvikning kryssmönster
During the course, you will learn a modern interpretation of the origami technique known as diamond-pattern folding, or cross-folding, and explore the structure it creates on the surface of the paper.
We will fold a pattern to use as a basic structure and then use it to create our own three-dimensional objects. You will also get to try folding patterns for advanced models.
The aim of the course is for each participant to learn folding techniques and create finished forms.
Course leader Miro Burman is a bookbinder who trained as an art educator at Konstfack. Her specialities are Japanese bookbinding, Japanese paper and paper construction. She has experience leading courses at various art schools and museums.
