Gud och Allah runt Medelhavet
Muslim, Catholic, Jewish and Protestant – how do everyday morals and ethics differ for people of different religions around the Mediterranean? Do Catholics feel guilt and shame like Protestants, or is confession enough?
Does Islam dictate a different view of family and money from other faiths? Do Jews have more ceremonies than Protestants? What role do the different religions play in achieving mutual understanding and communication across the Mediterranean?
Guest: David Thurfjell, professor of religious studies at Södertörns högskola, whose research has covered everything from Shia Islam and the Roma Pentecostal revival to secular Sweden. He is the author of several books and a frequent contributor to Sveriges Radio P1’s “Tankar för dagen”.
