Elina Pirinen – Ghosts of Rosegarden

Ghosts of Rosegarden is a large-scale work bringing together dance, live music and live film on stage.

Inspired by Stravinsky’s Våroffer, it reshapes the narrative of sacrifice: here, women and girls from myths and stories return, not to be sacrificed but to claim their space. Rhythm, movement and voice create an intense, ritualistic stage environment.
