Ulriksdals Slott

A magnificent palace in Nationalstadsparken.

The 17th-century palace Ulriksdal is situated in Kungliga Nationalstadsparken in Solna. Over the centuries, monarchs such as Karl XIV Johan and Gustav VI Adolf have used the palace as a residence. Ulriksdals Slott is therefore filled with magnificent rooms and gems from several periods of interior design. The grounds include an orangery, now used as a sculpture museum featuring works by Sweden’s leading artists, and a stable building where Queen Christina’s coronation carriage can be viewed. The palace is open to the public every day during the summer months and at weekends in spring and autumn. The palace park can be visited all year round.
